RpyHub is proud to host a passionate global community of visual novel enthusiasts, gamers, and curators. These Community Guidelines apply to all registered members participating in comment sections, reviews, wishlist collections, and profile interactions.
1. Commenting & Review Standards
We welcome insightful commentary, constructive game reviews, and helpful troubleshooting discussions. When posting on game pages:
- Constructive Criticism: You are welcome to critique gameplay, artwork, pacing, or storylines. However, personal attacks, hate speech, threats, or harassment directed toward game developers, artists, or fellow commenters will result in an immediate ban.
- Quality Discussions: Avoid low-effort spam, repetitive one-word replies (“first”, “nice”), or unsolicited self-promotion.
- English Primary Language: To ensure effective moderation and community clarity, comments should be written in English.
2. Mandatory Spoiler Tag Policy
Visual novels and narrative-driven RPGs depend heavily on mystery, plot twists, and narrative progression. To protect other players from unintended spoilers:
- You must wrap any crucial plot reveals, character endings, or story secrets in spoiler formatting:
[spoiler]your plot secret here[/spoiler]. - Revealing major story conclusions or surprise twists in unhidden text is subject to comment removal and temporary commenting suspensions.
3. External Links & Anti-Piracy Policy
To defend community members against malicious downloads and protect our infrastructure:
- Posting ad-shortener links (Adf.ly, Linkvertise, etc.), paywalled archives, or personal monetized download mirrors in comment threads is strictly prohibited.
- Posting direct links to malware, keyloggers, crypters, or unauthorized torrent trackers is strictly forbidden.
- Dead links should be reported via the official Dead Link Report tool on the game page rather than cluttering public comment threads.
4. Moderation & Strike Enforcement System
Our moderation team reviews reported comments and enforces a progressive discipline policy:
- 1st Strike (Warning): Offending comment removed; formal warning issued via user notification.
- 2nd Strike (7-Day Mute): Account temporarily muted from submitting comments and reviews for 7 days.
- 3rd Strike (Permanent Ban): Account permanently terminated and IP address blacklisted.
