This page explains how game pages on RpyHub are put together, where their information comes from, and how mistakes are fixed.
Who publishes
RpyHub is run by one person. Game pages and guides are written and updated by that person and published under the RpyHub name.
Sources
- Games on Steam: the description, screenshots, release date, supported languages and system requirements come from the game’s Steam store page.
- Games not on Steam: the same details come from the developer’s own channels, such as Patreon, SubscribeStar, itch.io, the developer’s website or their release posts.
Descriptions are the developer’s own words. Genres and tags are the store’s or the developer’s tags.
Which builds are listed
RpyHub lists public builds: versions the developer has released to everyone. The version shown on a game page is the latest public build added to the site.
Versions, dates and platforms
- Updated date: the date the current version was added to the page, not the date the page was last edited.
- Release date: the date given by the store or the developer.
- Platforms: a platform is listed only when the developer released a build for it.
- Languages: the languages the game supports, as listed by the store or the developer.
Corrections
If something on a page is wrong or a download link no longer works, use the Report button on the game page or the contact form. If a newer version is out, send a game update request. Reports are checked and the page is corrected.
Developers and rights holders
Developers can ask for their official links (Patreon, Steam, itch.io and others) to be added to their game’s page, or for corrections to its details, through the contact form. To have a game removed, use the DMCA page.
