About Deadset Darling
You arrive in a new city with almost nothing after your life falls apart, forced to rebuild from the wreckage of your past. Deadset Darling is a choice-driven visual novel about that difficult restart, where the people you meet can become allies, romantic partners, sources of temptation, or reminders of what you tried to escape. The game traces how your decisions reshape both your circumstances and your relationships, and whether you can move forward or whether old wounds will pull you back down. It's built for players who want adventure games with real consequences, where dialogue choices matter across multiple characters with distinct personalities.
Six characters branch through the story: Irina carries the weight of a shared past, Jade is a guarded mechanic who demands trust before vulnerability, Sarah offers quiet support, Chelsea brings chaos and humour, Melissa provides comfort that blurs into something deeper, and Ayleen reads people with dangerous accuracy. The game's structure lets you shape which relationships develop and how, and the narrative responds to the trajectory you carve out.
Deadset Darling is in active development at version 0.3.3 and runs on Windows, macOS and Linux. It supports twelve languages and is written for adults only, containing sexual content and mature themes. If you're new to these games, how to install Ren'Py games will walk you through setup and saving.
Developer's description
Deadset Darling is a mature, choice-driven adult visual novel about betrayal, desire, and starting over from nothing.
After a brutal fall from the life you once knew, you arrive in a new city with little more than a painful past, a few dollars, and one last chance to rebuild. But starting over is never clean. The people you meet can help you heal, drag you into trouble, awaken old desires, or force you to face the things you tried to leave behind.
This is a story about finding your place again, facing the past that ruined you, and deciding what kind of future you are willing to fight for.
The People Who Shape Your Story
Irina Beautiful, dangerous, and tied to a past that refuses to stay buried. Irina is not just a memory. She is a wound, a temptation, and a reminder that love and betrayal can sometimes wear the same face.
Jade A guarded mechanic with a rough edge and a soft center she does not show easily. Jade is blunt, stubborn, proud, and far more vulnerable than she wants anyone to know. Getting close to her means earning trust one choice at a time.
Sarah Warm, caring, and sharper than she first appears. Sarah is the kind of woman who notices when someone is falling apart, even when they try to hide it. She brings comfort, patience, and a quiet emotional pull to a life that has become anything but stable or not?
Chelsea Playful, chaotic, and impossible to ignore. Chelsea brings trouble with a grin and turns ordinary moments into accidents waiting to happen. Behind the jokes and bold moves, there may be more than just fun.
Melissa Sweet, mature, and disarmingly warm. Melissa has a gentle charm that makes the world feel less hostile, but she is not as simple as she first seems. With her, comfort can turn into desire before you even realize the line has moved.
Ayleen Confident, observant, and always more in control than she lets on. As a bartender, Ayleen has seen every kind of lie people tell themselves. She has a teasing smile, a sharp tongue, and a way of reading people that can be both comforting and dangerous.
Choose your path. Shape your future. Live with the consequences.
Deadset Darling is intended for adults only (18+). It contains sexual content, strong language, and mature themes. All sexual content involves fictional adult characters.
