In Her Service

About In Her Service

Developer's description

Jack and Sylvia are a couple.

Life put debt in the way of each of them, and each faced the same choice: a long term of servitude, or prison and forced labor. Both chose service. They met serving their previous master — he as a guard, she as a cook — and they chose to become a couple. A love under hard circumstances.

Now they stand before the doors of the mansion of their new, eccentric mistress: Talia Godroy.

What life is waiting for them here? Will she be strict? What will their work be like? Will their love flourish, or wither along the way?

A story about a conservative couple meeting a very open eccentric mistress and her friend. Whether you focus on your lovely girlfriend Sylvia or fall deep into lust is entirely your own choice.

EVERY PATH IS A DIFFERENT STORY

In Her Service is not one story with optional scenes bolted on. Your choices decide who Jack and Sylvia become to each other.

Hold the line — and it stays a slow-burn story about a couple keeping their footing in someone else’s house.
Let go together — and it becomes something shared, with Talia, with Henry, with each other watching.
Let go separately — and it becomes something else entirely. Secrets. Jealousy. Cheating.

Sixteen endings. None of them is the "true" one. An in-game event flowchart tracks what you’ve found and what you’ve missed, so replays are targeted instead of blind.

THE HOUSE

Sylvia — Jack’s girlfriend. She loves (you) deeply, and for that love she is willing to endure a great deal. You met two years ago, serving a different master together, and you have been together ever since. She is a conservative woman. Beyond you, she loves her daughter just as much.

Talia — Talia Godroy of House Godroy. An eccentric noblewoman of high status, she always seems to be in control. For some reason, until your arrival she lived alone in her mansion. Why alone? What is her past? And is the face she shows the world only a façade…?

Fiona — Talia’s Best Friend. A noblewoman of high status. Behind a face that could captivate entire realms hides an intellect capable of outmaneuvering anyone. She always comes out on top, and her motives are rarely legible.
