About Simulation & Guide
Love and Sex: Second Base is the clearest picture of what Simulation can mean here: a free-roam life sim where the player fills the protagonist's days with work, the gym, shopping and city errands. Its listing talks about hundreds of activities and dozens of endings, which tells you the genre tag often points at sheer volume of content. Other games filed here are far less open. Anyone who wants a looser structure than a sandbox will find the nearest match in Quickie: A Love Hotel Story, which splits its material into separate love stories and lets you pick one, instead of asking you to manage a whole week.
All of these are adult games, and the label is applied generously. Treat it as a hint about structure rather than a promise of management mechanics.
A tag stretched across many formats
Several sample games carry Simulation next to Visual Novel, Adventure or Casual. Law School, Season 1 follows a first-year student through classes and relationships in 3D. Where the Heart is: Season 2 continues a story about an inheritance and the women around the protagonist, and it adds RPG to the mix. A Town Uncovered pairs suburban secrets with dating-sim elements. In these, the simulation part is mostly about tracking relationships and choosing where to spend time, and the pacing stays closer to a conventional visual novel.
Succubus Contract I is the plainest case. Its own description says it has no animations and is a classic text visual novel, so the tag there reflects a premise of magic and body-swapping rather than anything you manage. Slaves of Rome and Sofia's Dark Fantasies lean toward 3D, with Action and RPG tags attached, and both sell themselves on production scale.
Numbers, money and sport
The most common themes are spread thinly. A few games share Sports, Strategy, Crafting, Economy or Incremental, and a few lean on dark comedy or dark humor. That is a useful sign: the harder-edged simulation, with resources, upgrades and numbers that climb, exists here but is a minority. Most of the list sits closer to story-driven life sims, where the main loop is choosing, not optimising.
If you want the more mechanical end, scan the tags on each page for Economy or Incremental rather than relying on the genre alone. If you prefer story with light systems, the Visual Novel archive overlaps heavily with this one.
Windows first, Russian and Chinese close behind
Nearly every Simulation game in this group runs on Windows PC, and about half add Linux, macOS or Android APK builds, so check the platform line before assuming a phone or Mac version exists. Setup and saves for the less familiar builds are covered in how to install Ren'Py games.
English is nearly universal. Russian and Simplified Chinese appear in most, and French and Brazilian Portuguese in about half. Some titles, Sofia's Dark Fantasies among them, advertise a much longer language list on their own pages.
